Emil’s album Scherben, containing works by Søren Nils Eichberg, was reviewed in the latest issue of the American music journal Fanfare Magazine (March-Aprll 2020 issue).
Fanfare describes Eichbergs piano cycle Scherben thus:
“Eichberg has created a 19-minute cycle of ingenious, at times virtuosic miniatures that would fit on any piano recital and delight any audience.”
Emil is described as “an extremely poetic player who seems completely inside this music.”
